Ancient Well

Venerated is this old well at the foot of the temple. Always providing fresh water when in need, even so close to the sea, it has a mystical reputation. Here traditional poetry praises the well.  Offerings are made at the well to ask for water, representing wealth, for the worshiper.

The well itself is covered and not available for drinking water.
